Mid-Season Update
I only have one request while you read this post and browse the stat spreadsheets. I require that you click the link below and turn up the volume! If you’re at work, wait until you get home so you can bump these jams.

IT’S TIME TO DROP SOME KNOWLEDGE ON Y’ALL.
So along with this post, I’ve also created one of the most intense statistical spreadsheets of all time. The first tab, “Player Stats”, lists all 7 weekly performances for every player on every team. The second tab, “Win/Loss Chart”, details an Owner’s success or failure in each of their matchups so far. The final tab, “Chaos”, is absolutely loaded with stats of every kind.
If you search through the stats and feel like a category is missing, feel free to create it yourself. With everything I’ve typed up/sent out, you definitely have the right tools at your disposal. I didn’t include cumulative TE stats because very few TE’s actually have numbers worth posting.
Finally, get ready for a crazy 2nd Half of the season! While weeks 1-7 featured a standard 4 Divisional games and 1 Non-Divisional matchup, Weeks 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14 are completely different. Weeks 8, 13, and 14 feature all Non-Divisional games, while 11 and 12 feature three Non-Divisional matchups. One thing is certain... The fight for the playoffs will be pure chaos!
Well, for most people... If you’re Jon Nelson and Homestar’s Runners, you’ve basically locked up a playoff spot at this point, barring a 2nd Half collapse. Buuut I don’t see that happening. I think Jon will beat Josh in Week 8 because the Sand People will be without Aikman and Smith. I think Jon will beat David in Week 9 when Osama is without Kelly, Reed, and Duperr. Week 10 is JeBron, so that should be easy enough despite the fact that Homestar’s Runners will be without Bo Jackson. Honestly, if Jon is ever going to lose I think it will happen in Week 11 in a rematch against Josh or Week 13 in an extreme duel with Ashley.
As for the surprise of the 2nd Half, I have so many scenarios swirling around in my head. I know I just said it would be hard for Jon to lose, but if he drops 2 games along the way (including the matchup against Ashley) I think the Harpies could swoop in and take the top spot.
I also think Tyler will squeeze out JeBron for the final playoff spot, and David will challenge Drew for the #1 Wild Card slot. Drew has an easy 4 game stretch coming up that features matchups against the bottom four teams, but a showdown with David in the final week still looms.
Don’t count out the Westies, they have a strong team on paper. If Jamie’s team can get their act together they might throw a wrench into the playoff picture by ousting Josh, Tyler, or Jebron.
I honestly don’t think Noah or Sam will contend for a playoff spot, but they might find themselves in the rather fun position of crushing the hopes and dreams of the teams fighting for a playoff spot.
But enough chatter... get over to that spreadsheet and overdose on some stats!
(Keep in mind that I have a giant monitor to view these documents, so everything looks like it is formatted correctly to me. If the spreadsheet is all messed up, try adjusting the width of the columns if that’s possible)
